It's 6'ish am and I'm awake with a need to write. First,... many thanks to Mary and Debi at Apple Frame Gallery
http://www.appleframegallery.com/ work and to consign a couple of paintings with eagerness for my new work. Your gallery has had an excellent reputation for years, I can see why. Both of you are a delight and I appreciate your knowledge of art. I look forward to many happy successful years together.
On matter of focus:
As the world is facing more and more dire circumstances, I'm finding it more and more important to stay focused on my targets, goals yes, but they are more than goals. I'm finding that developing a fierce determination is now mandatory. In order for us to stay above and not get pulled down into the vast doom and gloom, clear determined focus becomes evermore vital. To use one's mind as never before to make clear and wise choices for the direction of our lives. Choices not of fear but choices made by considering what is most important, most dear. Choice more of soul than of group thought.
I choose to view these times as opportunities for expanding creative thought. Could this be the "Age of Art"? As artists, it is part of our Being to expand our vision into new territory and to create maps of various varieties of new territory. The old is crumbing before our eyes. What will we build, what will we envision, what will we create in its place?
